About Dr. Karin Wagstaff

Dr. Karin Wagstaff was born and raised in Kelowna, BC. She is a graduate of UBC Vancouver with a BA (Psychology) and a Teaching Certificate. Karin taught in the interior of BC prior to marrying Dr. S Craig Wagstaff. Craig was the first naturopathic physician in the Okanagan Valley. Together they paved the way for naturopathic medicine, helping to make it accessible and “mainstream”. They also promoted sustainable agricultural practices and supported the organic agriculture industry in the Valley.

Karin and Craig raised 3 children and together were active in Scouts, soccer, hockey, figure skating, swimming and skiing. Karin is a skating judge and spends many hours volunteering at skating competitions throughout the valley and lower mainland. Karin still enjoys skiing and is an avid Scottish country dancer and is a certified Scottish country dance teacher.

Dr. Karin graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine, Portland Oregon in 2010. After graduation she began a 2 year residency with Craig, focusing on chronic degenerative disease using biological medicine principles and treatments. Together they lectured internationally and published articles in various naturopathic journals.

Sadly Dr. S Craig Wagstaff died September 27, 2012. Dr. Karin continues to practice in the same manner as Craig, and actively explores new and innovative techniques to add to the practice.
